Cook II coordinates the hot-line area of the kitchen. Cook II also has to have knowledge of the saucier, prep, and pantry cook positions. Cook II has to be able to work without supervision and skilled at his station. Cook II is expected to meet quality standards, enforce food specifications, portion control, recipes, sanitation, and be able to work well with others. Cook II has to be able to maximize guest satisfaction. Cook II must be able to follow the dress code. Cook II must be a skilled worker with flexible hours.
Technical F&B Competencies
Ø Culinary Arts degree
Ø Sanitation certificate
Ø Operational knowledge focusing on product standards and procedures
Ø Knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations
Ø Knowledge of food cost control
Ø Solid command of the English language
Ø Computer skills
